MONTHLY MEETING

Presentor: Clayton Hahn

Topic: Have you ever dreamed of creating your very own unique rose? Come to our March meeting and learn the basics of rose hybridizing — how to cross two roses, how to know when to harvest the rose hip (seed pod), and how to get your rose seeds to germinate. 

Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. (Social starts before the meeting.)

NURSERY MEET & GREET

Presenters: Consulting Rosarians and Volunteers

Topic: We will be at both Rainbow Gardens locations to meet with gardeners, educate them on rose growing and help them select new roses! 

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: Rainbow Gardens @ 8516 Bandera Road and 2585 Thousand Oaks

The San Antonio Rose Society of San Antonio, Texas, is a non-profit educational organization affiliated with the American Rose Society.

 

The rose is considered to be the queen of all flowers, and is our official national floral emblem. The objective of the society is to promote interest in all aspects of rose culture through a variety of educational programs and publications, rose shows, and rose-related community projects.

Membership to the San Antonio Rose Society is only $20 a year. Meetings are held every second Monday of the month at:
